Industrial Geometry

A group of minimal industrial/urban details and urbanscapes in which the subject matter is secondary, but serves as the palette providing the lines, shapes, textures, and colors that make up the designs that are the true focus of these images. I remember in my early work I would intuitively recognize these things and capture them, but question their relevance. But in my art program classes, we were encouraged to see the elements of an image apart from the subject matter and I realized that is what those images were all about.
